Brazilian and from Pernambuco with pride, breathing innovation and renovation, I graduated in Mechanical Engineering and I have been acting for more than 20 years in the energy sector. During my journey, I have been always looking for sustainable and fertile development.

During my foreign formations, I had the opportunity to learn the importance of knowledge and to explore different niches in order to change the world using mainly technology to our advantage.

Since 2016, I have been working as CEO of AES Brasil, in which I am also a strategic leader, responsible for energy planning and development of new businesses in the energy sector, leading all group companies in the country. I have been in the AES group since 2002, with an extensive curriculum in the company, having already served as Engineering and Performance Manager at AES Cartagena, in Spain, and held several positions, among them, Vice President of Operations at AES Brasil.

In 2019, I was appointed Energy Ambassador for the Brazil Network Global Deal. My role is to encourage companies to adopt corporate social responsibility and sustainability policies in order to strengthen universal principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption.

In 2020, I received the invitation to be a member of the production board of ONS - National Electric System Operator. This appointment represents a lot to me, as it is a confirmation of the good work done at AES and contributes to the advancement of renewable energies and the use of new technologies in search of an efficient and clean energy system.

With many years of work focused on the constant increase in renewable energy efficiency, I carry with me much more than just a corporate spirit, but rather, a genuine goal of adding value to the world, building a sustainable future for the planet and providing greater productivity with less cost to companies.
